Foreshore Marine Exhaust Pty Ltd - World Leaders in Marine Exhaust Innovation

November Update

Welcome to the Foreshore Marine Exhaust blog once again…despite the economical doom and gloom it seems marine exhaust systems are still breaking down, and new boats are being built. We have been involved with quite a few new builds recently, designing and manufacturing custom systems for all.

An exciting project in NSW,a Pleysier 45 game boat, refined and being built ultra hi tech. Powered by 700hp Cats, it will be a rocket ship for its proud owner.

Other new builds include 2 high speed cats powered by the now famous Yanmar 900hp marine engines. Foreshore Marine has designed “water-drop” mufflers for these projects, a new design, already tested, unbelievable performance.

Also, a gorgeous boat by Michael Boag, old Range Rover driver and exquisite designer of marine craft down on Mornington Peninsular, look for Bancroft Bay Boats.

We have just completed a huge job over in PNG. Matt Chang contacted us a few months ago informing me of his sick and tired old underwater exhaust system on his Southern Cross 48 powered by a pair of 6V92′s @ 550 HP. Matt said at idle, the exhaust shook the tower so much, he thought it was going to fall out!! The exhaust noise was so loud, no one could even talk out on the back deck. So after a new set of mufflers, and a total system redesign a lot of elbow grease from Matt and his crew, he rang me from PNG to tell me it was such an unbelievable difference, he was wrapped!! …no noise..no vibration..it was a new boat. Matt worked really hard on that project, glad we could deliver the result he was after.

We are also consulting on a few boats with exhaust issues…a 30mtr Superyacht in QLD powered by 16V2000 MTU @ 1835 HP…a Sea Ray 45 with underwater exhaust issues…a Princess 59 in Vic, doing an underwater conversion…out of the water at the moment we have Dick Smiths beautiful Selene 59. We are redesigning the exhaust to exit underwater to attain better noise attenuation.

If we can help you in any way at all, please contact us as soon as possible. Cheers for now,M erry Christmas to all, and happy new year!!
